In line with Presidential Proclamation No. 760, January is declared as 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, a time to promote sustainable waste management practices and environmental stewardship. This year also marks the 24th anniversary of Republic Act No. 9003, the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act, which serves as a cornerstone for effective waste management in the Philippines. With the theme “Integrating Sustainability and Circularity into the Informal Waste Sector,”
This theme calls for strengthened collaboration to ensure that sustainability is integrated into all aspects of waste management.
